Pregnancy Planning & Preconception

Planning Pregnancy – Before the Test is Positive

Good outcomes start before conception. We focus on:

  • Detailed health and family history
  • Screening for anaemia, thyroid, diabetes, vitamin deficiencies, infections
  • Optimising weight, metabolism and blood pressure
  • Reviewing previous miscarriages, C‑sections or complicated births
  • Medication review and supplement planning

This is especially critical if:

  • You are above 30–35 years
  • You have PCOS, endometriosis or fibroids
  • You have chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension or autoimmune disease

Antenatal & High-Risk Pregnancy Care

Safe Pregnancy, Safe Delivery

We look after routine as well as high‑risk pregnancies, including:

  • IVF pregnancies and twin / multiple pregnancies
  • Recurrent pregnancy loss
  • Previous stillbirth or neonatal loss
  • Hypertension, pre‑eclampsia, gestational diabetes
  • Placenta previa, growth restriction and other complications

Management is aligned with national and international obstetric guidelines, and supported by Dr. Sunita’s active leadership within FOGSI.

Vaginal Birth, C‑Section – What’s Right for You?

We discuss:

  • Likelihood of safe vaginal birth vs planned C‑section based on your case
  • Previous C‑section scar status
  • Pelvic anatomy, baby’s position and growth
  • Your risk profile and preferences

Decision‑making is shared – but grounded in safety first for both mother and baby.
